Shane joined the Williamson County community over twenty years ago after moving from rural Moulton, Alabama. While designing roads and subdivisions, Shane enrolled in law school to further his education. He founded Tellus Law in 2012 taking on personal injury cases and representing indigent defendants in many courts across Tennessee.

Shane is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where he argued a case involving federal employment appealed from the Merit Systems Protection Board.

He currently is teaching Architectural & Engineering Design at Franklin High School for his fourth year where he serves the families of Williamson County through the public education system.

A man of community service, he also volunteers his time with organizations such as the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Tennessee Bar Association. He later was appointed by the Mayor to Spring Hill's Transportation Advisory Committee where he served until January 2022. In 1990, he earned the rank of Eagle Scout and continues to be involved in scouting activities with his sons, Reagan and Garrett. Shane is a former Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 289.

Shane’ s experience provides him with the insight and experience needed to adjudicate matters fairly and consistently in Williamson County’s Circuit Court. Let’s thank him for his service at the polls.
